Stockholm Old Town 2h Private Walking Tour - Private local guide

The tour guide did not show up. We waited 25 minutes at the designated spot. An hour later they called saying the tour guide had the wrong time and was an hour off. To be fair, they offered to re-book us for a free make-up tour, but we declined. They gave us a full refund.

I do not recommend them and here's the reason. We arrived on a cruise ship that ended in Stockholm and had the day to tour, as flight left early evening. We booked a custom day tour with Time Travel that included a walking tour in the morning followed by a trip to an ancient Viking site on the way to the Airport. So this is 2 reviews in one. Part 1: Walking tour. It began on a bad note, as the driver to meet us was 30 minutes late. He loaded the luggage into the van and said see you later. What the heck? We told him he was to drive us to meet the guide in Old Towne. So he calls his boss and finds out that yes, that was the plan, so we head off....but then did not know where he was going. He could not find the way to Old Towne. I don't know how many times we turned around. 45 mins later we get there. We saw the ship tour buses that left after we departed, had arrived to the square and unloaded. Unacceptable. So we lost an hour, pushing back our time line. The guide for the actual tour was terrific. He was able to turn our sour mood into a good one. Ask for Leopold. Made the history of the city come alive. He leads us back to the square to meet the driver for the afternoon tour. Part 2: Viking Tour. Driver again not there. We wait a few minutes and call his cell. He's 40 mins away making a run for someone else to the airport. You've go to be kidding me. We take a walk, have something to eat and get back to the square with time to spare....but not driver. Now we're pretty ticked off. Call him again. Told he's on the way. Call the boss and get voice mail. We're now bushing 3pm and when he arrives, he acts as if nothing is wrong. He asks where did we want to go for the Viking Tour. We told him forget it, take us to the airport. We loved the walking tour with Leopold and would rate him a 5. But given the poor organization and transportation and missing the Viking tour completely, I give them a 1, so blended, the company rates a 2.

Fantastiskt kunnig och engagerad guide som var både utbildad historiker och arkeolog. Gav en fullständig bild av hur Gamla Stan i Stockholm utvecklats från Medeltid till nutid. Klart över förväntningar. Rekommenderas starkt.

Superspännande och lärorikt med guiden Jonathan :) Rekommenderar varmt till alla som är intresserade av Stockholms historia.

Jag bokade ingen privat vandring, men eftersom jag var enda som ville gå, så blev det bara guiden och jag. Så det blev en privat vandring. Gick på en massa små gator i Gamla stan, som jag inte visste om fanns.

Intressant och upplysande. Lagom omfattande och några djupdykningar i intressanta medeltidsfenomen. Ca 1 timme var precis lagom för oss och Jonathan var mycket kunnig inom sitt område. Många nya fakta och anektoter. Rekomenderas varmt
